Two one-time settings (Hiddify only)
1 · Region → China. In Hiddify, open Settings (⚙) and set Region to China. This keeps your Chinese apps — WeChat, Taobao, banking, delivery — on their normal fast local route while everything else goes through Clearport. Skip this and WeChat can get slow or flaky.
2 · Bypass LAN. In Settings (⚙) → Routing, switch on Bypass LAN. This keeps your home/office network's own traffic off Clearport — noticeably steadier, especially on Wi-Fi. Leave everything else as it is. (The Clearport Roam app on Android/Windows does both automatically — these apply to Hiddify only.)

I tapped Clipboard but nothing happened
Tap 📋 Copy my Roam link on this page first — the link has to be on your clipboard. Then open Hiddify and tap Clipboard. (Scanned the QR instead? It imports on its own — no need to copy.)
It says “Connected” but sites still won't load
Wait ~10 seconds and reload. Check the name at the top says Clearport-Roam — if not, tap the dropdown and choose it. Still stuck? Tap the big round button off and on once.
I don't see a “Clipboard” button in Hiddify
Update Hiddify to the latest version. The Clipboard button is on the Home screen near the bottom, right next to “Manually.”
My Mac won't install Hiddify
You'll need an overseas App Store account — the app isn't in the mainland App Store. Switch your App Store country, install Hiddify, then switch back if you like.
Set Hiddify's Settings (⚙) → Region to China, then reconnect. That keeps Chinese apps on their normal fast local route while everything else rides Clearport. (The Clearport Roam app on Android/Windows handles this automatically.)
It connected but feels slow
Evenings are the busy hours on every line in China; it usually settles. On a slow hotel network, open the app and switch the mode from Automatic to Anywhere, which gets through strict networks. If it's consistently slow, message us — we can tune your route.
Drops or unstable on Wi-Fi (but fine on mobile data)?
Open Hiddify Settings → Routing and turn on Bypass LAN, then reconnect. If that Wi-Fi is still rough, message us — we can move you to a closer route.
Hiddify says "permission denied" or "configure tun interface" when I connect
Your phone only allows one connection app to run at a time, so another one is holding the slot. Fix: close or disconnect any other connection/proxy app (and if your phone has an "always-on" connection app set in its network settings, switch that off). Then tap Hiddify's big round button and tap Allow on the popup. Still stuck? Force-stop Hiddify (or reboot the phone) and open Hiddify first, before anything else.
Works on one phone but not another (or drops when the screen's off)?
If it's fine on one phone but flaky on another with the same Wi-Fi, it's the phone's power settings, not the network. On the flaky phone: (1) set Hiddify → Battery → Unrestricted (new phones throttle background apps hard — this is the #1 cause); (2) turn off Wi-Fi power saving / adaptive Wi-Fi in the phone's Wi-Fi settings; (3) make sure Settings → Connections → Private DNS is Off / Automatic, and no other connection app is set "always-on" (only one runs at a time); (4) match the working phone's Hiddify settings (Bypass LAN on, IPv6 route Disable).
How do I add my other devices?
The same link works on each device on your plan — open this page (or paste the link) in Hiddify on each one, then Clipboard → Connect.
How do I turn it off?
Tap the big round button in Hiddify again — your phone goes back to normal instantly.
What happens after my free week?
We'll send you a quick WeChat (or email, if that's how you signed up) to keep it going. Nothing auto-charges and there's no card on file.
How do my partner and I both use it?
One pass covers up to 5 devices. After you sign up, send your personal link (it looks like clearport.io/r/…) to your partner and open it on each phone or laptop. Please don't sign up twice — that creates a second pass.
Does it work before I get to China?
Yes. Connect once the day before you fly to check it — it should say Protected. Then disconnect until you land. Your 3 free days start the first time you connect.
How do I turn it off?
Open the app and tap Disconnect. Your phone goes back to normal straight away.
What happens after my 3 free days?
